Rosetta-Lt™ is simple to use
Compact and simplicity itself, simply plug Rosetta-Lt™ into the monitor's output connector and stow it in the pouch. When you send from the monitor, Rosetta-Lt™ automatically captures the 12-lead ECG and summary data, "translates" and stores it. When you are ready, transmit from the patient's side or unplug it and move to ambulance or a nearby phone. Rosetta-Lt™ gives you the freedom to transmit when and where you want! Rosetta-Lt™ connects to your 2-way radio, Nextel cell-phone or the patient's phone either directly (with a cable) or by a built-in acoustic coupler. Just press Rosetta's START button and, in only 1 minute (typical transmission time), the 12-lead report is sent to the hospital and received on either the CAREpoint EMS Workstation or the Rosetta-Rx receiving unit. Once received, the report is stored (CAREpoint), printed on a laser printer and may be forwarded to other printers or destinations, such as a cath-lab or physicians' office or PDA. Of course, Rosetta-Lt™ can also send single-lead ECG information just as easily.

How Does Rosetta-Lt™ Work?
A companion to the Medtronic LIFEPAK® and ZOLL M/E Series monitors, the Rosetta™ family of communications products permits the utilization of the best communications means available for each field situation. The Rosetta-Lt™ analyzes, decodes and then transforms the monitor's digital data into a highly robust analog FM protocol, suitable for fast transmission by common voice-grade communications means -- even from a moving ambulance. Rosetta-Lt™ will provide the physician with necessary information to assess the patient's condition where other communications means may fail or have excessively long transmission times. Rosetta-Lt™ is fully compatible with existing General Devices' products as well as the new General Devices NetManager™ and Rosetta™ stand-alone receiving products.
