DSP Engineer, Ridgefield, New Jersey
DSP Engineer wanted for company in Ridgefield, NJ. MS Degree in Electrical
Engineering to perform the following:
- Design and develop biomedical instruments and system components using
emulators and simulators of industrial standard DSPs, MCUs
and CPUs.
- Develop and implement digital signal processing algorithms to extract
relevant information from physiological measurements (blood pressure
and flow in particular), and implement them using a combination of DSP, RISC
and micro-programmable hardware.
- The role includes all aspects of DSP engineering from analysis through
modeling rapid prototyping, hardware and firmware design, to coding
and testing.
- Prepare system layouts/schematics to build test, and validate prototypes.
- Specify, design and debug DSP application software.
Specific skills and other requirements:
- Technical skills must include:
-Embedded processors software development.
-C, C++ programming (PC based environment.
-Matlab/Simulink simulation and algorithm development.
-FPGA design.
-Protel Schematic Capture, PCB Layout and Simulation
- Knowledge of advanced digital signal processing math theory.
- Hands-on experience with algorithm development and fixed point
implementation
(both C and assembler) in real-time DSP OS.
- Ability in using emulators and simulators.
