The General Devices EIM-107-20A PREP-CHECK PLUS™ is a compact, handheld, multi-lead electrode impedance meter developed specifically for sleep studies to quickly test all lead wires, cables, electrodes and electrode preps at the bedside.

Problems with cables, lead wires, electrodes and preps can ruin sleep studies. This not only costs time and money, but it seriously inconveniences the patient. Identifying and correcting these problems is time consuming and difficult, especially when using monitors with readouts not located at the bedside or with portable machines that may not have impedance measurement capability. PREP-CHECK PLUS™ provides a fast, positive way to quickly assure good test results and smooth out the wrinkles in sleep studies.

PREP-CHECK PLUS™ is an advanced version of the PREP-CHECK, the impedance meter standard in the industry. Not only does PREP-CHECK PLUS™ quickly and automatically check ALL electrodes, it identifies the electrodes by your names, skips unused electrodes, measures offset potentials, has user-defined GOOD/POOR limits and many other useful features.

Accurate & simple to use, measurement accuracy is always assured because PREP-CHECK PLUS™ recalibrates itself before each use! In addition to user-friendly controls, the readout provides step-by-step operating instructions as-you-go. Connect the electrodes - push the start button - fix the problems and done! It even turns itself off when you are finished. It's that easy!

PREP-CHECK PLUS™ saves valuable time, improves the quality of sleep studies, minimizes disturbances to the patient and staff and pays for itself in improved equipment utilization and better patient satisfaction.
