The General Devices EIM-107 PREP-CHECK PLUS™ is a compact, handheld, multi-lead EEG electrode impedance meter for testing lead wires, cables, electrodes and electrode-site preparation prior to connecting the EEG machine to the patient. Problems with cables, lead wires, electrodes and site preparation cost time and money to identify and correct, especially when using expensive EEG equipment to apply electrodes. PREP-CHECK PLUS™ provides a fast, positive way to assure good test results prior to EEG machine connection, improving throughput and reducing disturbance to patients and nursing staffs in crowded critical care units. Even if your equipment already has impedance measurement capability, PREP-CHECK PLUS™ will save time, money and smooth out the wrinkles in EEG studies.

PREP-CHECK PLUS™ is an advanced version of the PREP-CHECK, the impedance meter standard in the industry. Not only does PREP-CHECK PLUS™ quickly and automatically check ALL electrodes, it identifies the electrodes by your names, skips unused electrodes, measures offset potentials, has user-defined GOOD/POOR limits and a variety of other useful features.

Accurate and simple to use, measurement accuracy is always assured because PREP-CHECK PLUS™ recalibrates itself before each use! As powerful as it is, PREP-CHECK PLUS™ is simple to use. In addition to user-friendly controls, the readout provides step-by-step instructions as-you-go. Plug in your Headbox connector - push the start button - fix the problems and done! It even turns itself off when you are finished! It's that easy!

PREP-CHECK PLUS™ saves valuable time, minimizes disturbances to the patient and nursing staff and pays for itself in improved equipment utilization.
