EMS Telemedicine Webcast Is a Hit

On November 17, 2011, General Devices sponsored a webcast entitled  "What You Need to Know about EMS Telemedicine."   Presented in conjunction with EMS World magazine, the webcast offered a comprehensive look at the challenges and opportunities telemedicine offers to the EMS environment.

"The webcast was hugely successful," says General Devices president (and presenter) Curt Bashford.  "According to EMS World, participants came from 48 states and countries as far away as Zimbabwe and Egypt.  Obviously, interest in EMS Telemedicine has 'turned a corner'.  General Devices is excited to be at the forefront of this next step in the evolution of EMS services."

Those who missed the live broadcast can view the archived tape of the webcast on the Webcasts page of EMS World's website (www.emsworld.com).  Click the Launch Presentation button on the Webcasts page to view the recording of the webcast.

"As the webcast presenter," Bashford says, "I was struck by the number of excellent questions posed in the Q&A at the end of the webcast.  I regret I could not personally answer each of them live in the allotted time."  He encourages those who have questions after viewing the archived webcast to avail themselves of the General Devices Go-2-Guys Program for answers.

"A simple phone call will connect you to me or one of the experienced telemedicine engineers on our team.  We are happy to answer any EMS Telemedicine questions you may have.  The service is free (yes, free!) to anyone looking for information."
