Microprocessor-based, the 3000 presents all operating information on a large screen, illuminated LCD, with continuous battery monitoring. Power is provided by either vehicular 12 VDC or a high-capacity Ni-Cad battery-pack. The 12-Lead option acquires a high-quality 12-Lead ECG in just 3 seconds and stores it for printing in the field via a monitor/defibrillator or transmits to most EMS consoles in just 36 seconds! The Gemscom 3000 has many unique features, such as built-in phone coupler, patching capability for use with cellular or conventional telephone systems, "alert" tone to signal hospital personnel from the field, crystal-clear state-of-the-art audio circuitry, and is packaged in a rugged, all-metal enclosure within a padded softcase.
